This sweet boy and his family met me at one of my favorite parks for shooting, Whittier Mill. With his first birthday right around the corner, his family wanted to capture the moment. Check out the results below.
This session was such a fun one and I really enjoyed hanging out with these guys. We were lucky enough to have not one but two cool locations. The first was a private gallery used for events. We used one of their pieces as a back drop for the first set of head shots. It definitely made for an interesting background. Since it had so many mediums – metal, dry wall and brick, I made sure to do some medium shots as well as long full body ones. Then we set up a white background for classic straight up head shots. After that we moved to a restaurant where we had plenty of room to do some group shots.
If you need head shots for you website, let me know!
This sweet family session was a bit on the windy side. Atlanta’s winter had been unseasonably warm but on this day the temperature dropped and brought along some wind. While the weather wasn’t ideal, my subjects definitely were. The girls did great and we got a few shots with the adults too. Thanks so much to the N Family for toughing it out in the cold with me.
Tim and Megan met me on an incredible fall day at the lovely Chattahoochee River for a maternity shoot. Their portrait session featured a lot of walking around as there are so many scenic spots on the trails of East Palisades. Right after sunset, we headed downtown to Peachtree Center to get a few shots with big christmas tree. This was extra special because Megan and Tim met at Peachtree Center. I was so glad to capture such a unique portrait at such a meaningful place for these guys. Check out the results in the gallery below. Thanks again Megan and Tim for letting me capture you and your soon to be baby!
This sweet family of 4 participated in my December mini sessions at Whittier Mills Park. We walked around the trails and ran around in the field while taking portraits. The 2 year old twin boys were great and seem to have had blast. I’m looking forward to doing family mini sessions in the spring. Let me know if you’re interested or have any location suggestions. In the meantime, check out the results from this family session below.
This sweet mini maternity session at Whittier Mills Park was so fun. Steve and Amy were a blast to work with. The chemistry between these two was apparent as soon as we started shooting. Their baby will be here in just a few weeks. In the meantime, check out a few photos from their session below.
I will be doing mini sessions again in the spring. If you are interested, let me know.
Check out this beautiful family portrait session at the park on a summer morning.
Thanks so much to the G family for letting me capture your family memories again.
You might remember these guys from their baby announcement back in January. Well, here they are with their baby bump in all its glory. Momma came to the shoot with a TON of great ideas and I had a few of my own. I love what we did. Check out the photos below. These guys will be great parents! I am so lucky to have them as friends and to share such a special time in their lives. Can’t wait to meet Baby L.
Rebel is just shy of three years old and his sister Riley is 10 months. The two of them are looking for fun on their own terms, which made it hard for me to get a good shot of the two of them together.
Rebel is constantly on the go while Riley is looking for something to grab on to so she can stand up. I had such a great time with these little guys who are both so sweet and fun. Check out the pics from our morning together below.

Sylvie is an extremely talented bead maker and a long time friend. When she asked me to do her portrait, I of course said yes! She wanted something that captures what she does with glass and fire.
We did the shoot at her old studio, where she had painted the walls. We got some shots of her and the torch and a few portraits too. I had so much fun with Sylvie that day.
