This sweet family of 4 participated in my December mini sessions at Whittier Mills Park. We walked around the trails and ran around in the field while taking portraits. The 2 year old twin boys were great and seem to have had blast. I’m looking forward to doing family mini sessions in the spring. Let me know if you’re interested or have any location suggestions. In the meantime, check out the results from this family session below.
The V Family met me at Deepdene park in Atlanta on a gorgeous fall day. We walked around and did portraits at several spots that I love in this park. Their son who is two was just a bit shy at first but after some tickles, he warmed up easily. I got some cute smiles from him for sure. I really enjoyed this session because these guys were so easy to work with and we couldn’t have had better light. Golden hour indeed! Thank you V family for letting me capture you!
On a beautiful fall day, I met this family at Overlook park in Sandy Springs. It was a great spot for a shoot, even with tons of folks around. The leaves were changing colors and hadn’t all fallen off the trees yet. The back drop was perfect for this family portrait session.
Thanks Tara and family for letting me capture you!
Happy Father’s Day to all the dads out there! Here’s a special session for a special dad — the father and husband to these gorgeous ladies. We met at an East Point park on a spring day that felt like summer to capture Mommy, the triplets and the newest addition. I had a ton of fun with these sweet cuties. Hope their dad loves the photos!
The W family has a lot of changes coming around but nothing bigger than their newborn baby boy. I got to hang out with them for a bit last weekend and absorb all the cuteness. I wish you guys the best! Thanks for letting me come over and take portraits of your beautiful family!
To do an outdoor family session at the end of December might seem a little crazy but Georgia weather itself is a little crazy. For this family portrait session, the weather a mild 54 degrees and partly cloudy. The clouds gave us just enough cover to do the shoot midday and no one had to wear a coat. The results below are great. We got shots of the family and the grand parents and a few with Grandma’s dog.
Thanks so much Q family! I am glad we got to do this before you guys headed home out west!
I met these guys on a blustery afternoon at Piedmont Park in Atlanta, GA. The sun was shining and there was a bit of a chill in the air. We walked around and took these photos of this beautiful family. Thanks so much you guys. I had a blast.
On a sunny Sunday in Atlanta, I went to the park Edwin & his son, Gabriel. These guys were just looking for fun. They were great at posing so we got a bunch of great shots. Check out the photos below. Make sure you click the slideshow button.
What do you do when your brothers and sisters come to town for your dad’s retirement? You have a photoshoot with Sweeterthan! It was truly my pleasure to spend an afternoon with Meetal and her family at Bulloch Hall in Roswell, Georgia. The gorgeous sprawling grounds were the perfect backdrop for this family portrait session.
Three generations of family in one shoot is such a special way to celebrate. I am so honored to have been the photographer that gets to catch these sweet moments in this family’s life. Thank you again Vinayak and Meetal!

I met this sweet family at the Leita Thompson Memorial Park in Roswell on a sunny spring day. The kids, Anna and Zack, were ready to play so we walked around the park and took some photos.
Along the way, Anna found a lightening bug that she carried around. Sometimes she’d share the bug friend with her brother.
I always have fun with these guys and this afternoon was no different. Thanks Lori and Tim for a lovely afternoon! Check out our photos from the session below. Click on the images below to see the full version or watch a slideshow.
